DEPARTMENTOF GAMING The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) regulates tribal gaming, event wagering, fantasy sports, horse racing and pari-mutuel/simulcast wagering, and unarmed combat sports; investigates illegal off-reservation activities; and provides and supports prevention, education, and treatment programs for people and families affected by problem gambling through its Division of Problem Gambling (DPG).

Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented Programs Coordinator provides administrative, programmatic, and operational support to the Division of Problem Gambling (DPG). Responsibilities include coordinating office activities, responding to inquiries, maintaining records and data, preparing reports and correspondence, processing invoices and requisitions, managing supplies and collateral, and supporting meetings, events, grants, outreach activities, and strategic initiatives. The position serves as a point of contact for various program functions and stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional communication and service. Additionally, provides backup support for Prevention and Education activities and represents DPG at community health and social service events.

Job Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs administrative, coordinating, and office support activities for the Division of Problem Gambling.
Maintains and updates content for on line trainings.
Manages marketing vendor reports and maintains data related to campaigns and point of contact for Public Information Requests.
Assist with setup, tear-down, providing information and representing the Agency at health and social outreach events.
Is the primary contact for inventory and collateral disbursement.
In charge of ordering and maintaining supplies.
Point of contact for TX/Recovery App and provides support for Grants, including report collection and data management.
Point of contact for symposium organization and planning piece working directly with appointed event organizer on venue and contract deliverables.
Updating and maintaining Strategic plans both for DPG's portion of Gaming's plan, as well as DPG's own plan.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
Appropriate phone, correspondence and email manners.
Preparing and writing reports.
Researching and compiling information.
Evaluating Summarizing numerical and demographic information.
Techniques. Strategies to maintain confidentiality of information and documentation.
State Governmental and Department Structure.

Selective Preference(s):

Minimum 3-5 years project support, office administration, communication and service experience in an office setting.
Grant assistance experience, Marketing experience, Proficiency in G mail, G suite, Microsoft Office-Word/Excel/Power point.
Preference given to those with background in social services, behavioral and/or public health
