The ideal candidate has a strong background in thermal-fluid systems, process engineering, and multidisciplinary system integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design nuclear and industrial process systems and subsystems from concept through final design.
  • Develop and maintain mass and energy balance models to support system performance and design analyses.
  • Integrate results from thermal, structural, seismic, pipe stress, and heat transfer analyses into overall system designs.
  • Apply applicable industry codes and standards, including ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, and NFPA.
  • Develop engineering documentation, including:
    • System Design Descriptions (SDDs)
    • Engineering Design Specifications (EDS)
    • Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Support the development of design packages, including P&IDs, 3D models, and system drawings.
