GnP Design Group is a collaborative MEP and Fire Alarm (FA) engineering consulting and design firm serving both public and private sector clients in multiple states across the country. We are seeking experienced MEP Engineers — high-level designers will also be considered — to join our growing team.

Our projects range from new construction to renovations and additions, often requiring creative problem-solving and close coordination with architects, owners, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to engineering design across diverse market sectors.
  • Coordinate closely and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and architects.
  • Review and develop designs to ensure compliance with applicable codes, adopted engineering standards, and sound engineering practices. Strong knowledge of national codes is required.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new construction, renovations, and building additions.
  • Perform all required calculations for system design, including sizing of source equipment and distribution systems.
  • Design systems ranging from basic to highly complex with minimal supervision using AutoCAD.
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high design quality.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of MEP engineering design experience.
  • Experience across multiple building sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of national codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
