Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wholesale Sales Manager to grow and lead a team of Account Executives at Verus Wholesale, a non-agency mortgage company. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring team success in achieving company goals. As a key leader, you will oversee account management, develop strategic initiatives, and contribute to the company’s overall growth in the wholesale mortgage market.
Compensation:
$75,000 base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Leadership and Team Management
  • Upon joining, you are expected to bring 2–3 experienced sales professionals as part of your team and actively recruit additional talent to enhance market coverage.
  • Train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives.
  • Set individual and team goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to achieve targets.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in the non-agency mortgage market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, operations, and marketing, to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other key partners to expand the company’s network and market presence.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and meetings to promote services and build brand awareness.
  • Ensure customer needs are met by addressing concerns promptly and providing exceptional service.
Performance and Reporting
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.

  • Manage sales budgets and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or comparable professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wholesale mortgage sales, with a focus on non-agency products.
  •  Minimum 2+ years managing a wholesale non-Agency sales team.
  •  Deep understanding of wholesale mortgage products, particularly non-agency loans.
  •  Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  •  Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  •   Proficiency in Salesforce software and other sales tools.
