Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms to inform individualized treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage emotional and relational challenges.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for self-care and resilience.
  • Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and feedback.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy to enhance therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
