Job description

About Us
At IntelliSurvey, we're on a mission to enable professional research online. Headquartered in Irvine, California, we've spent more than two decades building one of the industry's most flexible and sophisticated market research platforms. We help organizations tackle complex research challenges that others shy away from, delivering innovative technology and expert services that generate insights our clients can trust.
With a talented global team and a collaborative, remote-first culture, we continue to grow by helping our clients solve increasingly complex business problems.
We're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Account Director who thrives on developing new business while growing and expanding existing client relationships. This is a consultative sales role focused on identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth across both prospective and existing clients.
If you're motivated by building relationships, closing business, and helping clients succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
The compensation range is $120,000-$150,000, along with a quarterly bonus plan. What You'll Do
  • Drive new business development through your network, referrals, industry relationships, and proactive outreach to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new client opportunities while expanding relationships within existing accounts.
  • Build trusted partnerships with executive-level decision makers and serve as the primary strategic contact for key clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth, client retention, and long-term partnership success.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities by understanding client objectives and recommending IntelliSurvey's full-service research and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-including Sales, Marketing, Product, Research Operations, and Delivery-to develop customized proposals, presentations, and client solutions.
  • Lead contract negotiations and contribute to pricing strategies and proposal development.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by partnering closely with internal teams and proactively managing client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, account activity, and opportunity tracking within the CRM.
  • Mentor and support Account Managers, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a high-performing team culture.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or consultative sales within the market research, insights, or SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business, exceeding revenue targets, and growing strategic client relationships.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong background negotiating contracts, pricing, and complex client agreements.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage sales pipelines and client relationships.
Why You'll Love Working Here
Work from anywhere in the U.S. while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. We also bring the team together once or twice each year in Irvine, California, for collaboration and team-building.
Generous Time off
Enjoy six weeks off each year, including:
  • Three weeks of PTO
  • Eight paid company holidays
  • Six floating holidays

Comprehensive Benefit Package
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • 401(k) with Company match
