A Remote Research Attorney is a legal professional who conducts legal research, drafts memoranda, and prepares legal documents while working from a location outside of a traditional law office, often from home. Their primary role is to support lawyers, judges, or legal teams by analyzing legal issues, case law, statutes, and regulations. Remote Research Attorneys leverage technology to collaborate with colleagues and access legal databases, making it possible to perform their duties efficiently without being physically present in an office. This position is ideal for those who seek flexibility and the ability to work for organizations or clients across different locations.

To address these, it’s important to establish clear channels for regular check-ins, use document-sharing platforms for collaboration, and set realistic expectations regarding turnaround times.
