Pride Health is hiring a Genetic Counselor to support our client's healthcare organization in a Remote capacity. Interested? Apply Today!

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 1st Shift
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Range: $40.00–$55.00/hour
Travel: 0%

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Provide genetic counseling services in accordance with established clinical and organizational standards.
  • Review and interpret genetic, medical, and family history information to assess potential genetic risks.
  • Communicate genetic testing options, results, implications, and recommendations to patients and/or appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Support patients and families in understanding genetic conditions, inheritance patterns, and available testing or management options.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other clinical teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to genetic counseling activities.
  • Perform other responsibilities outlined in the position's job description and as assigned by the hiring manager.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Genetics or Genetic Counseling required.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) is required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
  • Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • No travel required.
