Your expertise will play an essential role in promoting mental health, personal development, and resilience among clients.

About the Organization

Renovate Counseling Services is a progressive mental health organization based in Surprise, Arizona, dedicated to making high-quality mental health care accessible to individuals and families who may have limited access to such services. Our mission is to provide compassionate support tailored to each client's unique needs. We pride ourselves on our collaborative, person-centered approach, ensuring that our clients feel valued and understood. As a part of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to a culture that values professionalism, ongoing learning, and community engagement.

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to effectively manage your work-life balance while serving clients through telehealth services. Our telehealth facility leverages advanced technology to facilitate seamless interactions between counselors and clients. You will benefit from flexible scheduling options designed to accommodate your personal and professional commitments while ensuring optimal care delivery to your clients. Renovate Counseling Services fosters a supportive environment where counselors can thrive, with robust systems in place to aid in documentation and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Engage in individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health issues.
  • Document client interactions accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure holistic client care.
  • Participate in regular professional development and training workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Renovate Counseling Services, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Our commitment to serving underserved communities means youโ€™ll often engage with clients who have historically faced barriers to accessing mental health care. This role is pivotal in creating a nurturing environment that empowers clients to make meaningful progress in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to document client interactions and treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in telehealth settings is an advantage, particularly in providing therapy remotely.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload capacity. As part of our comprehensive benefits package, you will receive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage.
