What You'll Do

As the Building Automation Solutions Architect, you'll serve as the technical expert responsible for designing complete smart building ecosystems.

You'll work directly with customers to understand business objectives and develop integrated solutions that connect:

  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • HVAC Controls
  • Lighting Control Systems
  • Security & Access Control
  • Energy Management Platforms
  • Cloud-Based Building Management Systems
  • IoT Devices and Smart Building Technologies
  • Legacy Building Systems
  • Enterprise Software Platforms

You'll partner with Sales and Engineering throughout the solution lifecycle—from discovery and architecture through implementation support—ensuring customers receive scalable, high-performance solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Building Automation, Smart Building, Building Controls, or Systems Integration experience
  • Hands-on experience designing integrated BAS/BMS solutions
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, lighting controls, security systems, and energy management
  • Experience integrating multiple building technologies into unified platforms
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based Building Management Systems
  • Experience with enterprise integration protocols
  • Strong customer-facing consulting or solution architecture experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

Important Requirements
  • This is NOT a software development or programming position.
  • Candidates must have hands-on Building Automation, BAS/BMS, or Smart Building systems experience.
  • Must be comfortable working directly with customers to design technical solutions.
  • Ability to travel 20–50% throughout the U.S. (occasional international travel possible).
  • U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) only.
  • Current or future visa sponsorship is not available.
