Remote Relocation Package information

What is a remote relocation package?

A Remote Relocation Package job is a position that allows employees to work remotely while receiving financial or logistical support to relocate to a different location. Companies may offer assistance with moving expenses, temporary housing, or other relocation benefits to help employees transition smoothly. These packages are common for roles where employees can work from anywhere but might need to be in a specific region or time zone. Benefits vary by employer and can be negotiated as part of the job offer.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the remote relocation package position?

To thrive in a Remote Relocation Package Specialist role, you need expertise in employee relocation processes, knowledge of global mobility regulations, and practical experience in HR or relocation services. Familiarity with relocation management software, expense tracking tools, and compliance platforms is highly beneficial. Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills enable effective support for relocating employees and coordination with vendors. These skills are crucial for ensuring seamless, stress-free relocations and maintaining compliance with company and legal requirements.

What are some common challenges faced by remote relocation package specialists?

Remote Relocation Package Specialists often navigate challenges such as managing multiple relocations across different time zones, interpreting complex immigration regulations, and ensuring seamless communication between employees, vendors, and internal teams. Handling last-minute changes and resolving unexpected issues, such as delays in housing or document processing, are also typical parts of the role. Success requires staying organized, being flexible with shifting priorities, and maintaining a strong customer service mindset. Working remotely, you also need to be proactive in building relationships and providing support to ensure a smooth relocation experience for employees.

Job description

Territory Sales Manager - Midwest Region (Chicago)
Arch Promo Group (Confluent Holdings) - Remote, based in the Chicago, IL area • Full-time
About Arch Promo Group
Arch Promo Group is a fast-paced, growth-driven promotional products company, uniting leading brands under one umbrella. We deliver creative, high-quality branded merchandise solutions to clients nationwide. Our culture is entrepreneurial, team-oriented, and focused on driving results through collaboration and innovation.
Position summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our expanding team. This role is responsible for building and developing new business within an assigned territory, cross-selling across Arch Promo Group brands, and driving revenue growth. This is a hunter role focused on creating new opportunities - not simply managing existing accounts.
Candidates must have prior experience in the promotional products industry to be considered.
Location requirement: This role is remote but must be based in Illinois, in the greater Chicago area - where Arch Promo Group is currently able to hire in the Midwest. To be considered, you must currently reside in the Chicago, IL area (or relocate before your start date). We're unable to consider candidates in other states at this time. (The territory you'll sell into spans the broader Midwest - this requirement is about where you live and work, not where your customers are.)
Territory & pay
  • Home base: Chicago, Illinois (remote). The role covers the Chicago market and the surrounding Midwest region, with regular travel throughout the territory required.
  • Compensation is based on experience and open to negotiation, with a highly competitive, performance-driven structure:
    • Aggressive base salary
    • Uncapped commission and bonus opportunities
    • Earning potential competitive with - or exceeding - industry standards
Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Build strong client relationships through consultative selling, product knowledge, and solution-driven approaches.
  • Leverage Arch Promo Group's portfolio of brands to cross-sell and expand client programs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and reporting in CRM (HubSpot experience strongly preferred).
  • Collaborate with inside sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and activity goals aligned with company growth objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the promotional products industry.
  • Proven track record of success in new business development and territory growth.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems; HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Must reside in the Chicago, Illinois area and be able to travel throughout the Midwest territory as needed.
Why join Arch Promo Group?
  • Represent multiple leading brands under one group.
  • Fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong leadership support.
  • Competitive compensation package with base salary, commission, and benefits.
  • Collaborative culture focused on professional development and success.

Our core values guide the way we work: Listen First; Do the Right Thing; Excellence in All We Do; One Team Committed to One Another and Our Customers; and an Entrepreneurial approach.
Arch Promo Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
