Logistics Engineer and Warehouse Manager
The Opportunity:
Manage a program warehouse, including receiving equipment and preparing it for onward shipment to both CONUS and OCONUS sites, as a logistics engineer working on a larger operations team. Monitor CONUS and OCONUS sites. Develop, evaluate, monitor, and supervise logistics plans and programs, including materials and equipment for deployments. Maintain and track logistical requirements through documentation on customer networks affecting assets and logistics. Process customer orders and execute deliveries to meet operational and customer requirements.
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain management
  • Experience with direct logistics or engineering support, including planning, coordination, documentation, or tracking of engineering projects, transportation, shipment, inventory control, or information management operations in a DoD environment
  • Experience using database management systems to track and maintain large logistical requirements
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gather technical information, calculate and analyze data, and present logistics metrics
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs and policies
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure contract deliverables are adequately reviewed from a total logistics support perspective and approved in accordance with contract requirements
  • Experience working with various military services to validate ILS requirements and implement logistics support plans to meet requirements
  • Experience assessing and presenting production issues and challenges, and identifying and recommending solutions to leadership
  • Experience evaluating ILS impacts in CM documentation and engineering change proposals
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree
  • Logistics or Program Management Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
