Work Environment

This role is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote therapy using evidence-based practices tailored to meet client needs, focusing on interventions that align with established treatment plans.
  • Monitor participant progress through diligent tracking and documentation of session notes, ensuring clear communication about client progress and areas needing attention.
  • Coordinate care with the multi-disciplinary team to assist clients in accessing essential resources and support services, including obtaining necessary consent and authorization forms.
  • Identify high-risk situations involving participants, effectively responding to crises while adhering to Safe Horizon's established safety protocols.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, training, and Town Halls to maintain alignment with organizational objectives, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA policies and ensure compliance with annual training requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve come from a variety of backgrounds, facing unique mental health challenges that require tailored therapeutic approaches. The caseload may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be to guide them toward actionable skills and the development of healthy habits through structured therapy sessions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
  • Commitment to maintaining a consistent patient schedule, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Experience
  • Clinical experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused therapeutic approaches is highly desirable.
