Job description

We're on a mission to make healthcare safer. Daniels Health provides reusable medical waste containers designed to reduce needlestick injuries and support sustainability. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.

Bring your commercial finance expertise to a role where you can make a real impact. In this position, you'll partner across the business to support hazardous waste opportunities through pricing, financial insight, and strategic collaboration. As a subject matter expert, you'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and customers to navigate complex pricing, vendor disposal options, and solution design.

You'll play a key role in evaluating opportunities using customer data, waste profiles, transportation needs, and cost-to-serve analysis, helping ensure pricing is accurate, competitive, and compliant. This is an opportunity to influence business decisions, support profitable growth, and contribute to innovative, customer-focused solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop pricing models and commercial recommendations using waste profiles, vendor costs, transportation needs, and margin targets
  • Analyze customer profitability and cost-to-serve to drive revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Support new business, renewals, and customized hazardous waste programs
  • Identify rightsizing opportunities across volumes, service levels, and disposal pathways
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities and translate operational data into financial insights
  • Participate in customer discussions, clearly explaining pricing, disposal options, and cost drivers
  • Validate assumptions around waste profiles, volumes, and vendor costs
  • Act as and collaborate with internal subject matter experts in hazardous waste pricing, disposal pathways, and TSDF capabilities
  • Monitor vendor costs, market trends, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive, compliant pricing
  • Support risk management, audits, and financial reviews
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CA preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in FP&A, business partnering, or corporate finance
  • Direct industry experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or waste industry commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of hazardous waste profiles, waste characterization, treatment and disposal pathways, and processing complexity.
  • Strong financial skills in profitability analysis, cost-to-serve, pricing, forecasting, and margin management
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven mindset
  • Experience with vendor management, TSDFs, or waste logistics
  • Exposure to customer-facing pricing discussions or contract support
  • Project management experience or involvement in operational improvement initiatives
Why Work For Us:
  • Industry Leader: Over 20 years of excellence in medical waste management with top-tier NPS and delivery-reliability scores
  • 401K Matching: 50% employer match on up to 6% contribution (up to 3% employer contribution), with match starting Day 1, 5-year vesting schedule
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage effective Day 1; paid short-term disability; company-sponsored life insurance; and more
  • Job Stability: As an essential healthcare service provider, we're recession-proof and non-seasonal
  • Empowering, visionary culture: We think differently, act boldly, and value authenticity, creativity, and trust. Our team thrives on innovation, agility, and purpose-driven work, where every unique talent contributes to meaningful impact in healthcare
$90,147 - $130,313 a year
