We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional to join our team. If you have 2 or more years of experience in a BANKRUPTCY-CREDITOR RIGHTS LAW FIRM and are looking for a full-time, remote opportunity with a collaborative and professional team, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Draft and e-file various notices and forms
  • Holistically analyze case status, plan treatment, docket and claims register activity
  • Process files in an expeditious manner
  • Provide timely notifications/documentation to clients
  • Electronically file documents with the bankruptcy court
  • Perform retrieval and related processing of incoming data and/or documentation
  • Perform submission and related processing of outgoing data and/or documentation
  • Perform liaison activities between our firm/attorneys, clients, intra-office personnel, and/or 3rd parties
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with company policies and client directives to achieve overall company goals

Position Requirements
  • 2+ years Bankruptcy - Creditor Rights Law Firm experience
  • Polished and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven record of dependability and ability to work well independently and with a team
  • Must reside in one of the following eligible states: AL, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WV

Preferred:
  • Experience with Plan Review, Reaffirmations, Final Cure Responses, Payment Change Notices, Post-Petition Fee Notices, and/or Transfers of Claim

Benefit Details:
Brock & Scott, PLLC offers an attractive benefit package to full-time employees on the 1st of the following month of hire. The insurance portion includes medical, dental, voluntary life, voluntary vision, and critical illness, all at competitive rates. At the 90-day introductory period, the Firm also provides a basic life insurance policy in the amount of one time your annual salary (with a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $200,000.00) at no cost.
Full-time employees receive paid holidays, including six (6) firm-recognized holidays and one (1) Day of Observance, as well as a PTO package of 12 days per year. PTO accrues monthly and is credited on the 15th of each month, in accordance with firm policy. PTO benefits increase after 2 years of employment and again after 5 years of employment. After six months of service, employees over the age of 21 become eligible to participate in the firm's 401(k) plan at the beginning of the next quarter.
