Senior Construction Technician
Expected Pay Rate: $35 - $42 per hour

(TriTech) is a wholly owned subsidiary of DGS and a leader in providing comprehensive secure and mission critical facilities solutions, including construction, maintenance, and testing of specialized government and commercial facilities. At DGS, we are one team, working together to develop mission solutions - anywhere, anytime.
The Senior Construction Technician is responsible for performing construction tasks at CONUS and OCONUS locations, as well as pre-construction tasks at the company's CONUS locations, as directed by construction and warehouse leads. Construction work includes carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishing, testing and other tasks related to the installation of secure office spaces, shielded enclosures, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and other specialized facilities. Pre-construction tasks include receiving, tracking, organizing, packing, and crating construction materials, as well as light fabrication, painting, assembly and related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Execute construction tasks during CONUS and OCONUS construction of specialized government and commercial facilities.
  • Assist with and become proficient in the installation and testing of SCIFs and shielded enclosures.
  • Perform pre-construction tasks at CONUS locations.
  • Follow established safety rules and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintain a professional bearing while working at customer and company locations, including during associated travel.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Regular lifting up to 75 lbs. may occur.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that requires a mixture of travel within CONUS and OCONUS to work at construction sites, to include austere and hostile areas, and work in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. When the employee is not deployed to a construction project, they will report as necessary to a company facility to perform pre-construction tasks. Typical hours are 40+ hours per week. The ability to travel and work flexible hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays) is required.
Travel
Up to 75% required. The ability to travel to construction sites on short notice and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required.
Required Education and Experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a classified environment required.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass federal contract OCONUS deployment requirements published by the US Government from time to time.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and motor vehicle record review.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID requirements.
