Reports to: Associate Creative Director

About the Role

icreatives is partnering with a leading design-led agency to find an innovative, detail-oriented Experiential Designer.

In this role you'll help lead the creation of memorable unboxing experiences, PR mailers, and custom merchandise for some of the world's most iconic brands.

You'll transform gifting and product concepts into highly engaging brand experiences that delight recipients and elevate brand perception. You'll work closely with design and production teams to ensure every package tells a compelling brand story — from concept to final unboxing.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development

Ideate and develop creative packaging concepts that align with brand identity and marketing strategy

Turn the unboxing process into an experiential journey that surprises and engages

Develop innovative branded merchandise and custom product ideas that support campaign messaging and drive social buzz

Extend the brand story beyond the packaging through new product concepts

Graphic Design, Product Design & Prototyping

Create detailed design specifications and prototypes for packaging and custom products

Balance aesthetic appeal with functionality and production feasibility

Apply strong graphic design skills across print, materials, and production processes

Experience with 3D visualization or mock-up tools is a plus

Collaboration & Project Management

Partner with product design, production, and supply chain teams to deliver on time and on budget

Manage timelines and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality execution

Take a hands-on approach to product sourcing and testing

Client Experience & Industry Insight

Stay immersed in industry, cultural, and design trends to keep work fresh

Use client feedback and campaign data to inform design strategy and storytelling

Present concepts and prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders with clarity

Sustainability & Compliance

Incorporate sustainable materials and practices into packaging and product design

Ensure all designs meet safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field

End-to-end experience from concept through production for custom packaging and products

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Experience with 3D visualization or mock-up tools preferred

Strong portfolio showing concept thinking, visual storytelling, and physical/packaging design work from concept to execution

Understanding of influencer marketing and how storytelling drives impactful unboxing experiences

Knowledge of materials, print processes, and production methods for packaging
