This role will be conducted remotely, providing an excellent work-life balance for mental health professionals. Our innovative outpatient model allows you to offer support and therapy without the limitations of a traditional office space, empowering you to connect with clients effectively from anywhere in New York. Clients are scheduled during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured environment that allows for meaningful engagement and support.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify mood disorders and various mental health challenges in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored care plans that address their unique needs and goals.
• Provide psychoeducation, resources, and guidance for clients and their families, fostering the skills necessary to manage mental health concerns effectively.
• Engage with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client care.
• Stay updated on evidence-based practices, research developments, and therapeutic methods to enhance the effectiveness of your interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines and healthcare regulations.

You will work primarily with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. A Place For You, Ltd serves clients from various demographics, ensuring that your work has a significant impact on improving their mental health and quality of life. Your role is vital in empowering clients to overcome obstacles, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Active licensure in New York State (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is required.
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for effective client engagement and intervention.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling or therapy in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Experience working in outpatient settings or with telehealth platforms is a plus.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
