Therapy & Lifestyle Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for a full-time remote position. • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing assessments to identify and meet the mental health needs of patients.
• Facilitate open communication among supervisors, care staff, family members, and guardians to monitor patient progress effectively.
• Provide a structured schedule for appointments, home visits, and observational activities, ensuring that task completion aligns with patient care goals.
• Coordinate in-home visits to conduct observations and data collection, which may include chart reviews and interviews with associated staff and families.
• Ensure the implementation of individualized program plans is executed properly for optimal patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and updates regarding patient care and progress.
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect patient advancements and therapeutic outcomes.
• Organize and lead training sessions to certify staff in the implementation of program plans and enhance documentation practices.
• Provide ongoing follow-up interactions, home visits, and observations to support individual patient needs continuously.
• Maintain accurate and accessible records to ensure essential information is available to appropriate stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between the center, the public, and the broader mental health community to aid in achieving developmental goals.
• Contribute to creating procedures and materials that enhance the effectiveness of programs tailored to patient needs.

This counseling role will serve a varied clientele, including adults and youth in our community. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating your commitment to the profession.
• Knowledge in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, and trauma counseling will be highly regarded.
• A strong grasp of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice is necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for building rapport with a diverse client base.
• Proven ability to function collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant technology will be beneficial.

• Experience working with various mental health issues and presenting problems is an asset to facilitate effective care.
