Requirements
Master's Degree (required) in a field such as Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent. Doctoral Degree accepted in a field such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent. Degree must be from an accredited resident based, non-distance learning program. Person must be eligible at time of hire for Alaska State Licensure in the employee's professional discipline. Preferred Alaska State Licensed issued by the Board of Psychology or may be license eligible within 6 months. Primary residence must be in the State of Alaska. Knowledge of federal confidentiality regulations and requirements. Telebehavioral health experience preferred. Must have knowledge and ability to interact with cross-cultural clients and ability to work effectively with different cultures. Ability to prepare and present effective oral and written report in required format. Willing to take training and attend workshops periodically to enhance job performance and knowledge. Must be willing to travel. A valid Alaska Drivers License preferred. Native preference will be given depending on experience.
