Mind Wealth Therapies is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, promoting mental wellness and resilience within our community.

Work Environment

This remote position emphasizes flexibility while ensuring a professional and supportive online work culture. You will have the opportunity to work from home while benefiting from our well-established communication systems and interdisciplinary collaboration tools, including RMS systems and secure video conferencing platforms. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend appointments required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day activities will encompass a variety of essential therapeutic functions:

  • Manage a comprehensive caseload of clients, fostering strong therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate treatment progress, make necessary adjustments to their therapeutic plans, and facilitate safe discharges when clinically appropriate.
  • Develop personalized, person-centered treatment plans based on intake assessments and clients' unique needs, ensuring regular updates and monitoring of their progress.
  • Keep meticulous documentation and maintain accurate progress notes for each client's file, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Perform thorough intake assessments, identifying the client's mental health history, needs, and presenting concerns.
  • Participate in individual supervision sessions to reflect on clinical practices and receive targeted feedback for professional growth.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare providers to enhance the comprehensive care strategies for clients, ensuring cohesive treatment plans.
  • Maintain a mindset geared toward continuous learning and improvement in therapeutic efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will cater to a varied patient population, addressing the mental health needs of adults, children, and families. You will play a vital role in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges, while providing a safe space for them to express their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in direct client care and therapeutic intervention.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and relevant mental health management software such as Pimsy.
Preferred Experience

Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment. Familiarity with intake assessment processes is a plus, as well as experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
