Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to assess clients' mental health and provide therapeutic support.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients regarding their emotions and experiences, helping them to cultivate insights into their personal challenges.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining and pursuing their personal and therapeutic goals.
• Evaluate clients' mental health conditions, creating tailored treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with our organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with stable adults who are pre-screened for low acuity, ensuring that you engage with clients who are ready and motivated to improve their mental health. There is a clear absence of severe mental health cases within our client base, allowing you to use your skills in a more manageable and rewarding environment. We match therapists with clients who align with their specialties and demographic preferences, fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be a fully licensed practitioner, holding a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, without any limitations or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed assessments, decisions, and recommendations for treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficient in using technology and computer systems for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in telehealth or remote therapy services is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
