POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Manage and maintain PACS systems to ensure medical images are stored, organized, and accessible across a complex, multi-site environment
  • Troubleshoot issues and support radiologists, physicians, external customers, vendors, and internal IT teams with image access and system functionality
  • Oversee integrations and interfaces (including HL7) between PACS, EHR/EMR, and other applications to ensure accurate data flow
  • Support system transitions, upgrades, and implementations (including Fuji to Intelerad and upcoming Mosaic), while navigating change management
  • Handle a high-volume workload, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a level-headed, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years supporting healthcare information systems (RIS, EMPI), with a focus on patient identity verification, provider credentialing, and radiology workflows; prior PACS administration and radiology experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with data analysis, data entry, HIPAA/privacy compliance, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ticketing system experience preferred
  • Skilled in provider credentialing, patient matching/merging, and managing records across multiple healthcare applications
  • Knowledge of medical IT systems, including interfaces, application integrations, HL7, and interoperability within healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating across radiologists, physicians, clients, vendors, and IT teams while managing competing priorities
  • Based out of Austin, TX highly preferred
