• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients’ needs and implement tailored treatment plans that may include evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and challenges.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that address common mental health issues, promoting a sense of community and shared learning among participants.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive care by sharing insights and coordinating treatment with psychiatrists and other health professionals.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and remaining current with the latest industry research and practices.

Your work will primarily focus on adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse challenges. Our diverse clientele reflects a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to develop a rich understanding of various cultural and personal contexts affecting mental health.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure in the state of New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW or LCSW-R.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches, including familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience working with diverse population groups and delivering mental health counseling services.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards while providing compassionate care.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technological tools to manage client information.
• Strong collaborative skills to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience providing telehealth services, utilizing technology to engage clients effectively.
• Background in facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational programming.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention or emergency mental health response.
• Continued education in specialized areas of mental health therapy, such as trauma-informed care or addiction counseling.
