Description

The Mine Platform Customer Enablement Specialist is a product-focused leader responsible for driving successful customer adoption, deployment, and optimization of the Mine Platform across global mining operations. This role combines product management, technical expertise, and customer engagement to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing implementations. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in networking, cybersecurity, Kubernetes-based platforms, and secure operational environments. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, sales, and customer stakeholders. Travel to customer sites and regional offices is required. Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions (The purpose of this section is to define high priority/high frequency work that needs to be performed in the role, not provide an exhaustive list of all tasks the employee may perform.) Product & Strategy • Act as the product-facing lead for customer enablement of the Mine Platform. • Translate customer operational needs into product requirements and roadmap inputs. • Partner with engineering to prioritize features that improve deployability, security, and operational resilience. • Support go-to-market strategies for new platform capabilities. • Develop deployment standards, reference architectures, and best practices. Customer Enablement • Lead technical onboarding and enablement for new platform deployments. • Serve as the trusted advisor to customers on secure architecture and operational best practices. • Guide customers through networking, security, and Kubernetes-based platform integrations. • Develop training materials, playbooks, and documentation. • Conduct on-site and remote workshops to ensure successful adoption. Technical Leadership • Define secure-by-design deployment patterns for edge and cloud-connected mining environments. • Oversee secure configuration of networking, access control, identity management, and data flows. • Ensure platform compliance with enterprise security and operational standards. • Support troubleshooting of complex deployment and integration challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with: o Engineering (platform, DevOps, security) o IT and cybersecurity teams o Sales and customer success o Field service and operations teams • Provide structured feedback loops from field deployments into product improvements. Required Technical Skills & Experience Core Technical Competencies • Strong understanding of: o Enterprise and industrial networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs) o OT/IT integration in industrial environments o Cybersecurity principles (zero trust, IAM, encryption, PKI, network segmentation) • Hands-on experience with: o Kubernetes (cluster architecture, deployments, Helm, operators) o Containerized workloads and orchestration o Secure cloud and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, or similar) o Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) – preferred • Experience with: o Secure operations in regulated or critical infrastructure environments o Observability, monitoring, and logging frameworks o CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles • Proven ability to: o Translate customer requirements into product features. o Define roadmaps and prioritize backlog. o Write clear product requirements and technical documentation. • Experience working with agile development methodologies.
