Summary

The Senior Project Manager leads the delivery, testing, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled and strategic business initiatives that drive measurable value. This role leverages knowledge of AI and Generative AI technologies, prompt engineering and workflows, AI testing and validation, data quality, and process optimization to translate business needs into effective solutions. Working across business and technology teams, the Senior Project Manager manages project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring responsible AI implementation, successful organizational adoption, and achievement of business objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, critical thinking, and a continuous learning mindset to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-focused outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled or AI adjacent solutions that improve operational efficiency and business results.
  • Design, refine, and optimize prompts and workflows to improve accuracy, consistency, and usability of Generative AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute AI testing and validation strategies, including functional testing, usability testing, output validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, compliance, risk, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts to support adoption, training, and successful deployment of AI capabilities across the business.
  • Monitor and measure business value realization, adoption metrics, and outcomes associated with AI initiatives.
  • Partner with technology, business, governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure responsible implementation of AI solutions.
  • Manage the most complex, strategic, and highest visibility projects requiring advanced project management expertise.
  • Work with business unit leaders, sponsors, and key stakeholders to establish project scope, deliverables, budget, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Support business segment goals by providing project management leadership and delivery expertise.
  • Assemble, lead, and manage cross-functional project teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while implementing appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate status, and facilitate executive-level reporting and decision-making.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations, customer needs, and organizational standards.
  • Maintain accountability for successful project execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of project management, program management, technology delivery, process improvement, AI enablement, or digital transformation experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with AI tools and platforms (like Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
  • PMP certification
  • Hands-on experience building, testing, or improving AI solutions (including prompt engineering and workflow optimization)
  • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, compliance, and business impact
  • Experience supporting or leading technology changes, including helping teams adopt new tools or processes
  • Strong understanding of data quality, business processes, and how AI performance is measured
  • Project management experience, including:
  • Building and managing project schedules
  • Working within established project frameworks and governance
  • Leading cross-functional teams in complex environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, simple way
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving measurable business results
  • Experience supporting large-scale business or technology transformation efforts
  • Self-starter who is adaptable, takes ownership, and works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Curious mindset with a genuine interest in staying current on AI trends and emerging technologies
