Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to meaningful change in the lives of your clients. Flexibility is a core aspect of our working culture—counselors have the option to work full-time (over 30 hours/week) or part-time (over 5 hours/week). You will enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule, giving you the autonomy to balance work with personal life effectively. Our outpatient office facilities are equipped to support virtual counseling and will provide necessary resources for your practice.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health support through various responsibilities, including:

• Providing ethical and compassionate mental health counseling to clients via secure video chat platforms, ensuring their comfort and confidentiality.
• Conducting ongoing assessments of client progress and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to meet individual needs.
• Facilitating the development of new coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and effective communication techniques to empower clients in their therapeutic journey.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions while minimizing paperwork to allow more time for direct client care.
• Using our easy-to-navigate counseling platform to streamline your workflow and enhance the counseling experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on stable, low-acuity adults who seek support for a range of mental health challenges. This may include issues related to anxiety, mild depression, grief, relationship challenges, and stress management. By concentrating on this population, you will have the opportunity to help clients achieve balance in their daily lives and develop skill sets that promote emotional resilience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, valid state license such as LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or PsyD, permitting independent practice without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license, maintaining integrity and trustworthiness in your practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with technology, including proficiency in using digital platforms for client interactions.
• Stable Wi-Fi connection to ensure consistent and reliable communication with clients.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in telehealth services or a strong background in therapeutic techniques focused on adult mental health will be prioritized. Familiarity with various evidence-based practices is also desirable to enhance the quality of care we provide.
