Position Description 

QCi is seeking a senior program manager to oversee the selection, design, development and implementation of industrial automation systems for Manufacturing Operations Monitoring (MOM). The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and hands on experience deploying and maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) systems. This position is responsible for working closely with numerous stakeholders at QCi across, manufacturing, logistics, sales, finance, order fulfillment, purchasing and accounting. Initially this position will be responsible for the design and roll-out of automation systems to several QCi sites. After the rollout the program manager will continue to work closely with all the stakeholders to maintain and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QCi’s MOM systems and bridge the gap between technical teams and end users. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish requirements document for new MES and ERP systems.

  • Work with manufacturing and finance leaders across the organization to migrate existing systems to newly selected systems.

  • Implementation & Maintenance: Lead system upgrades, patches, and configurations

  • System Optimization: Customize the operations systems to meet business requirements, such as integrating with other modules and improving workflows.

  • Support & Training: Provide technical support to users, conducting training, and managing troubleshooting.

  • Project Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of MOM projects, from planning to execution.

  • Apply appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology to manage development  activities.

  • Automate the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps).

  • Participate in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring  customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in defining, developing, automating corporate-wide reporting tools.


Required Skills and Experience
  • BS in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or related field

  • 10+ years in program management within Manufacturing Systems (MES/ERP)

  • In depth technical knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems 

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of specific ERP systems (e.g., DelTek, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Odoo, SYSPRO, SaaS).

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to closely collaborate with IT teams, manage vendors, and drive organizational change.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding business processes in manufacturing, finance, or supply chain.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for liaising between stakeholders and IT teams.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile and waterfall framework.

  • Experience with Scrum framework 

  • Experience with customization of organizational business processes like new product introduction, quote to cash, procurement to pay.

  • Experience supporting SOX and other regulatory audits.

  • Proficiency with industry relevant software, such as Microsoft Visio, Smartsheets, MS Office Suite and Power BI. 

  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Experience with Deltek ERP strongly preferred 

  • Knowledge of semiconductor and/or other manufacturing processes and environments.
