Job description

A3 Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Requirements amp; QA Analyst to join our team supporting a critical DoD Insider Threat program. If you enjoy serving as the essential bridge between mission stakeholders and software development teams and are passionate about the Insider Threat missions, this role is for you!
In this job you will:
  • You will be a key driver of the Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring we build the right solution and that it works flawlessly.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the Development Team to elicit, analyze, and translate mission needs into clear, testable user stories and technical requirements.
  • Maintain and refine the Product Backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Develop visual aids, such as wireframes, process flows, and mockups, to effectively communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the full testing lifecycle, including User Acceptance, Regression, and Smoke Testing for each software release.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate that developed functionality meets all acceptance criteria and user expectations.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for software defects, documenting issues with precision and clarity for the Development Team.
  • Champion the user's perspective throughout the entire SDLC, ensuring the final product is intuitive, effective, and directly supports the Insider Threat mission.
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Program Managers, and government clients to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and a smooth development process.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience within the Department of Defense (DoD). This domain knowledge is essential.
  • Direct experience writing requirements and/or test cases for custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
  • 3-5 years of combined experience in software quality assurance and/or business/requirements analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to perform root cause analysis on complex software issues.
Desired Qualifications:
  • SAFe, CSM, ISTQB, or other Agile/QA certifications.
  • Experience using Jira and/or ServiceNow Agile Development for backlog management.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Security Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance Required.

Salary Range:
  • The salary range of this position is $130,000 - $146,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
