Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implements, monitors, and maintains cybersecurity controls for JCO in accordance with DoD policies, RMF, and applicable security standards.
  • Conducts risk assessments, vulnerability scans, threat analyses, and security testing to identify and mitigate system and network threats.
  • Responds to, investigates, and remediates cybersecurity incidents, maintaining documentation, playbooks, and reports as required by the JCC2 PMO.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in DoW Cybersecurity policies, RMF, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • 5 years of experience using security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection).
  • 5 years of experience with network protocols, operating systems, and database security.
  • 5 years of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and reporting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) IAT Level III
