Headquartered in the historic Chicago Board of Trade, PEAK6 Capital Management is a proprietary options trading firm that has been defining the industry for more than 25 years. While many firms have come and gone, PEAK6 Capital Management has consistently delivered liquidity to the options market. We thrive due to our firm's special blend of financial acumen, ability to manage risk, and cutting-edge technology.
Our success is driven by our team of technologists, engineers, and traders who leverage proprietary tech and a data-centric approach to maintain inventory and stay ahead of the markets, so customers can, too.

Unlike traditional "on-call" roles, you will be a full-stack contributor to the same high-impact projects and core trading systems as our daytime teams, ensuring seamless continuity and system integrity between trading sessions.
Accelerate your career by joining a dynamic, successful team breaking new ground in technology and trading. As a leader in the financial industry, we need incredibly talented minds to design and develop the next generation of sophisticated, proprietary trading tools and technology.

  • The Handoff: Your day ends with a critical synchronization and system handoff to our Budapest engineering office, ensuring a "follow-the-sun" support model.
  • Fulltime Remote: Once initial onboarding and training is concluded, the majority of the time you will be remote. There may be a few occasions where we may want you to join the daytime team for key meetings or training sessions but those will be planned for well in advance.
What you'll do all day:
  • Core Engineering: Tackle complex engineering roadmaps, feature developments, and architectural projects.
  • System Stewardship: Maintain and support our core trading systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Act as the technical point of contact for the Budapest team, providing high-fidelity information transfers regarding system health and ongoing deployments.
