The Senior Director of Agentic Client Operations is the connective tissue between strategy and execution within RVGT's client partnerships. This role owns the design and delivery of AIโpowered workflows across a client account โ building on the Director's technical depth while stepping into increasing ownership of strategic planning, client communication, and crossโfunctional team leadership.
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and optional remote days on Mondays and Fridays each week.
Client Travel required.

What Youโll Do Agentic System Design & Production Ownership
- Own the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of AIโpowered workflows across assigned client workstreams โ from initial architecture through live production management.
- Translate strategic objectives into scalable, productionโgrade system designs spanning multiโstep automated workflows, API integrations, LLMโpowered decisioning and RAG systems.
- Establish and iterate on evaluation and monitoring frameworks, including accuracy, latency, cost optimization (LLM/API usage), reliability, fallback logic, and observability.
- Operate with agility โ continuously pivoting and refining systems as new data, model capabilities, and business needs emerge.
Strategy Development & Delivery Leadership
- Lead workstream strategy for your client account โ defining roadmaps, pressureโtesting with data, and owning delivery from concept through optimization.
- Partner with the VP to translate client business objectives into structured, executable system designs and workflow plans.
- Build business cases for new capabilities and initiatives, tying recommendations to quantifiable KPIs and P&L outcomes.
Data, Analytics & Performance Management
- Leverage SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and Python to understand user behaviour, system performance, and business outcomes.
- Define and manage KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue โ maintaining visibility into performance across all active workstreams.
- Translate complex system performance into clear business narratives for VP and client stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders on system design, roadmap progress, and performance outcomes.
- Communicate complex agentic architectures and operational decisions clearly to both technical and nonโtechnical audiences.
- Support VPโlevel client relationships by preparing briefings, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations with increasing independence.
Team Leadership & CrossโFunctional Coordination
- Lead and develop a team of Directors, Analysts, and Operators across the client team.
- Operate across crossโfunctional groups โ including agentic workforce, data science/AI, compliance, creative, and engineering โ driving coordination and accountability.
- Foster a culture of ownership, rigor, and continuous improvement within the team.
Business Development Support
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements through AIโdriven transformation.
- Support RVGT's broader business development efforts by contributing agentic expertise, case studies, and performance data to proposal and renewal efforts.
What Weโre Looking For
- 7โ10 years of experience in digital operations, product, analytics, or technical strategy, with a strong track record of driving measurable business outcomes. Financial services experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AIโpowered or automated workflows in production, including systems that:
- Make decisions (not just trigger actions)
- Integrate multiple data sources and APIs
- Execute multiโstep processes across tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of agentic systems and modern AI architectures โ LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic), RAG, and APIโdriven workflows.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of direct reports in a fastโmoving, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities including SQL, BI tools, and Python experience.
- Deep experience defining and managing KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, scalable system designs and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills โ comfortable presenting to client stakeholders and adapting technical complexity for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to operate with agility, creating structure and driving execution in environments with significant change.
Compensation
This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
- Total Cash Compensation Range: $175,000 โ $230,000 per year
- New York City Total Cash Compensation Range: $218,750 โ $290,000 per year
