About the role
As a .NET Architect (AWS & GenAI), you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, AI-powered enterprise solutions that accelerate business transformation and modernization initiatives. You will be a valued member of the architecture and engineering team and work collaboratively with clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and software engineers to define and implement innovative cloud-native solutions.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and AI-enabled platforms.
  • Design and implement Generative AI solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and MCP models.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using .NET Core, SQL, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical architectures and solution roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams while promoting best practices and architectural standards.

What you need to have to be considered
  • 12+ years of experience, and in solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise application development.
  • Proven experience leading solution architecture initiatives and collaborating with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Generative AI technologies including Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of application performance optimization, security, testing, and software development best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

These will help you stand out
  • Experience within Asset & Wealth Management or Financial Services domains.
  • Knowledge of Python development and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Experience with reverse engineering and application modernization initiatives.
  • AWS certifications or cloud architecture certifications.
  • Experience implementing enterprise AI governance and responsible AI practices.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until August 31st, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
