Senior Platform Software Engineer (Python/AWS)

Belmont, CA (100% remote considered)
Full-Time

Join an innovative company building next-generation GPS and real-time 3D positioning technologies powering IoT solutions.

We’re seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design and scale Python-based backend microservices on AWS. You’ll own system design, performance, and reliability from concept through production in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, Kinesis/Kafka, RDS/Postgres)

  • Proven expertise building scalable, fault-tolerant Python microservices

  • Hands-on CI/CD experience (GitHub, PyUnit, PyTest)

  • Solid system design skills (APIs, scaling, architecture trade-offs)

  • Linux/Unix development experience

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in a US Pacific Time Zone Agile team
