  • Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs for data exchange between services and front-end applications.
  • Architect data models and write performant SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
  • Architect and use highly indexed information in Elastic Search
  • Integrate with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, or ECS).
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for scalability, maintainability, and security.

System Architecture & DevOps Collaboration

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Work with infrastructure teams to containerize and deploy applications using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Support monitoring and observability practices (CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar).

Code Quality, Testing & Documentation
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that meets coding standards and security requirements.
  • Implement and maintain unit, integration, and API-level tests.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and help enforce code quality and design consistency.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specs, and deployment guides.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver seamless, user-centric features.
  • Work with QA teams to triage issues, optimize test coverage, and improve release reliability.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups using JIRA.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions, backlog grooming, and process improvements.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML/CSS.
  • Solid backend development experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Proven experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Proficiency with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience using JIRA, Bitbucket or GitHub, and Visual Studio Code for development and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with agile software development and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with serverless architectures or microservices.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, Cognito).
  • Background in LegalTech, RegTech, or AI-driven document or workflow systems.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (pytest, Jest, Cypress).

Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ownership mindset with attention to detail and delivery quality.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
