Job description

The Fullstack Developer will take the lead in the hands-on design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of automation solutions. This role is primarily technical and demands strong software development skills at both the application and platform levels. Success in this position requires close collaboration with internal and external business and technology teams.

In this capacity, the Fullstack Developer will apply their expertise in software development technologies such as Python, Django, FastAPI, React/Next.js, SQL, API development and integration, Microservices, and more, to create automation solutions by selecting and utilizing the most appropriate technological tools and capabilities.

The team is tasked with creatively and efficiently identifying, enhancing, and automating inefficient processes by effectively leveraging both existing and emerging technologies. The individual in this role will have a unique opportunity to contribute their software development skills, curiosity, and a relentless drive for improvement, supported by the necessary tools and resources to transform daily operations for the better.

This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity with a Verinext client.

Requirements

  • Capable of utilizing both emerging and established technologies to enhance and automate business processes; identify the most suitable technology to optimize specific business functions
  • Effective problem solver - logical and efficient with a strong attention to detail; able to deconstruct complex issues into fundamental components and devise and assess various automated solution alternatives
  • Skilled in analyzing, interpreting, and enhancing business processes while applying agile methodologies to design and develop impactful automation solutions
  • Consistently monitor implemented solutions to ensure peak performance and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement, while promptly troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise
  • Execute tasks using Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Serve as a trusted automation advisor by offering objective, practical, and pertinent ideas, insights, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal and external business and technology stakeholders throughout the automation lifecycle
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver both rapid wins and strategic automation solutions

Qualifications Needed:

  • Highly curious with a continuous learning and growth mindset; adaptable and innovative
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners through effective interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to support colleagues and peers through coaching and mentorship, sharing your individual expertise
  • Competent in facilitating both technical and non-technical discussions related to the architecture and development of automation solutions
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
  • Understanding of Agile methodology, Scrum framework, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); experience managing the end-to-end development lifecycle of automation solutions using Agile practices
  • Extensive expertise in developing and deploying solutions using several of the following technologies: React, Next.js, Python (Django and/or FastAPI), SQL
  • Deep knowledge of web and application development (front-end and back-end), REST API development and integration, as well as microservice development and integration
  • Previous experience developing for and deploying to Azure Cloud along with related Azure services
  • Ability to comprehend various SDKs through their documentation and apply that knowledge to successfully complete development tasks
  • Extensive expertise in application and audit logging, unit testing, and related tools such as MSTest, Azure Application Insights, and Serilog

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar
  • Prior AI, GenAI, AgenticAI, ML, NLP, OCR, etc. experience is a major plus
