Role Overview
The Automation Anywhere Consultant functions as a high-impact individual contributor with significant autonomy to identify, design, and scale automation opportunities across the organization. This role primarily supports the expansion of automation capabilities within Finance (including Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and procurement) before scaling to other business units. Serving as a trusted technical advisor, the consultant will design complex robotic process automations (RPA), manage platform infrastructure, and advise leadership on platform best practices and Control Room administration.
Key Responsibilities

Automation Design & Development
• Design, develop, and deploy complex robotic process automations (RPA) and intelligent, agentic/AI-driven workflows using the full Automation Anywhere platform.
• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries and Python scripts to support data manipulation, backend processing, and platform integrations.
• Design, configure, and maintain robust API integrations to connect automation bots with third-party software applications and relational databases.
Platform Administration & Advisory
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to internal technology leadership, advising on Automation Anywhere platform best practices, security standards, and system scaling.
• Manage and govern Automation Anywhere Control Room administration, Bot Runners, and environment-level infrastructure.
• Perform ongoing system monitoring, pipeline troubleshooting, and code quality audits for active and queued automation bots.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate directly and independently with business users and functional stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements.
• Translate high-level business goals (specifically within Accounts Payable, procurement, disposal operations, and facilities selection) into technical automation designs.
• Identify, evaluate, and roadmap future automation opportunities to expand the organizational backlog.
Required Qualifications
• 10 or more years of professional experience designing, building, and administering solutions with the Automation Anywhere platform.
• Demonstrated, expert-level experience with Automation Anywhere Control Room administration and Bot Runner configurations.
• Proven experience developing both traditional Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and modern agentic, AI-driven automation workflows.
• Strong hands-on experience utilizing SQL, Python scripting, and complex API integrations to support data flows and automation tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to function as an independent individual contributor, owning technical initiatives from requirements gathering through final deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience integrating automations with Oracle database systems and leveraging enterprise Oracle APIs.
• Experience implementing agentic or cognitive automation workloads in a corporate Finance, Procurement, or Accounts Payable environment.
• Professional Automation Anywhere technical or administrator certifications.
