Job description

Who We Are
Provision IAM is a custom digital solutions agency specializing in financial and regulatory technology. For more than 30 years, we've helped organizations optimize digital operations and build secure, scalable identity and access management solutions for financial institutions and other regulated industries.
We are a distributed U.S.-based team of thoughtful technologists and problem-solvers who value ownership, continuous learning, and meaningful impact. Our environment supports autonomy, professional growth, and collaboration across engineering, operations, and client teams.
If you're looking for a role where your technical expertise helps connect systems, streamline workflows, and improve digital operations for real clients, you'll find purpose and visibility here.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Integrator to support the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of technical systems across client and internal environments. This is a hands-on individual contributor role working closely with infrastructure, development, operations, and client-facing teams.
You will help bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution by understanding system requirements, supporting integrations, improving workflows, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that systems work together reliably and securely.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving practical technical problems, documenting processes clearly, working across teams, and helping organizations get more value from their technology platforms.
This is a full-time, fully remote position open to applicants across the continental United States who are authorized to work in the U.S.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary ($115K-$140K)
  • Company-paid health insurance, including employee and family coverage
  • Generous paid time off
  • SIMPLE IRA retirement plan, including IRS-compliant eligibility and company participation
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Meaningful technical ownership and growth opportunities
What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, configure, and support integrations between internal and client systems
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into practical system solutions
  • Work with APIs, data flows, identity platforms, and cloud-based systems to support secure integrations
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across applications, infrastructure, authentication, networking, and data exchange points - including occasional debugging in client environments, communicating findings with confidence
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and maintainable
  • Support system implementation projects from planning through completion
  • Document system configurations, workflows, dependencies, and integration processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, monitoring, and operational reliability
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and, when needed, with clients regarding system requirements, issues, timelines, and solutions
  • Use AI tools appropriately to enhance productivity, analysis, documentation, and workflow
How We Evaluate Candidates
We focus on demonstrated skills and practical capability. We use structured technical assessments and interviews to evaluate problem-solving ability, technical reasoning, communication skills, and real-world experience.
We value:
• Strong technical fundamentals
• Sound judgment
• Intellectual honesty
• Ability to research and solve complex problems
• Clear communication and documentation
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Required Technical Skills
Systems Integration & Technical Analysis

• Experience working with APIs, web services, data exchange methods, or middleware tools
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical implementation plans
• Strong troubleshooting skills across interconnected systems
• Experience documenting workflows, configurations, requirements, and technical processes
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, access management, or identity-related concepts
Infrastructure, Cloud & Operations
• Experience working in cloud-based environments; AWS, Google Cloud; other cloud-based provider experience will likely transfer.
• Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and system administration concepts
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, routing, firewalls, certificates, and secure connectivity
• Experience with scripting, automation, or configuration tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, deployment processes, or DevOps practices
• Ability to support production systems and participate in troubleshooting or incident response as needed
Working Style & Professional Expectations
• Self-directed and accountable
• Clear written and verbal communicator
• Honest about knowledge gaps and proactive in resolving them
• Professional and client-aware
• Able to manage time and responsibilities effectively in a remote environment
• Comfortable working across teams with competing priorities and technical dependencies
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
AI-Augmented Technical Environment
We encourage the thoughtful use of AI tooling to improve efficiency, generate insights, strengthen documentation, and support technical problem-solving. Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI responsibly while maintaining strong technical fundamentals, independent judgment, and practical problem-solving ability.
Nice-to-Have Experience
