The Opportunity

We are looking for an Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of luxury engagement. This role is crafted for a strategic thinker who believes data should inform creativitynot limit it. You'll be responsible for developing and leading strategic communications programs for a portfolio of luxury hospitality clients, serving as the day-to-day client lead while driving earned media strategies that deliver measurable business results. You'll work alongside passionate strategists, creatives, and data specialists to deliver campaigns that are as effective as they are elegant.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic counsel and direction to clients and internal teams
  • Drive measurable earned media results
  • Maintain client relationships through meetings, conference calls, ongoing communication, meeting agendas, notes, reports, and other day-to-day account management
  • Write and edit press releases, media alerts, media pitches, annual PR plans and other strategic communication materials; lead press trips as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers and other key industry contacts
  • Ideate and broker strategic partnerships for creative campaigns with coaching from senior team
  • Develop creative campaign ideas with coaching from senior team; actively participate in team and agency brainstorms
  • Recommend and implement strategic programs and partnerships on an ongoing basis, often tied to the news cycle
  • Stay on top of current industry news, media trends and emerging technologies; attend events and build industry relationships
  • Oversee account work for 1-2 team members (ranging from account coordinators to account executives), providing training, coaching, editing, mentoring and overall sound leadership
  • Be a team player, self-starter and passionate about PR
  • Recognize potential client issues and bring them to supervisor's attention with recommended solutions
  • Support crisis communications efforts as needed

Who You Are

  • Four to five years' work experience in luxury travel/lifestyle PR; agency experience is preferred
  • Minimum one year in a supervisory capacity managing 1-2 junior team members
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • You're a self-starter with a proven ability to lead a team and work well independently
  • You have experience resolving client issues quickly and efficiently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding team player with a positive attitude
  • You have a solid portfolio of secured media coverage on behalf of luxury travel clients (national, magazine, newspaper, TV and digital wins)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the travel and luxury industries + media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers
  • Proven experience handling crisis a plus
