This position primarily operates in a telehealth setting, providing flexibility and convenience for both the therapist and clients. As a fully remote role, you will have the opportunity to engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, making mental health support accessible regardless of geographical barriers. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, determining their needs and developing clear clinical diagnoses and treatment plans based on established therapeutic practices.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions through various evidence-based approaches, customizing interventions to align with each client's goals and preferences.
• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing urgent mental health crises, ensuring timely and effective assistance to stabilize their situations.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including detailed treatment notes, progress evaluations, and assessment results in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.
• Inform and educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment pathways, and local community resources, championing their rights and needs throughout the process.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying updated on the latest mental health practices and innovations.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. Our clients come from varying backgrounds and demographics, reflecting the unique tapestry of the Cambridge community and beyond. Your expertise will be essential in providing clients with targeted support as they work toward achieving their personal mental health goals.

• Must hold current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all client interactions.

• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with platforms used for virtual therapy.
• A background in working with diverse populations and multicultural competence is highly advantageous.
• Experience in community outreach and education related to mental health issues.
