As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health and developing tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions, to engage clients effectively and support their goals.
• Keeping detailed clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations and reflect the dynamic nature of patient care.
• Collaborating closely with peers and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient's treatment, enhancing overall care quality.
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to improve clinical outcomes.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families, equipping them with information about mental health issues and available treatment options.

The patient populations you will serve include adults and families dealing with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. Your role is pivotal in providing tailored psychotherapy that addresses the specific challenges faced by these individuals while promoting their overall emotional well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, allowing for licensure as an LCSW.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Michigan.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy and direct services to patients.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and build rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to respond to complex patient needs.
• The capacity to thrive in a remote work setting while managing time effectively.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic or community health setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) management systems and HIPAA compliance standards.
