Overview

This position supports People Analytics at SGWS by contributing to workforce research, employee listening, reporting, and HR data initiatives. This role partners across research, data, and business functions to support survey and assessment projects, workforce insights, reporting solutions, data quality, and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is a curious and adaptable analytics professional who can learn new systems, document repeatable processes, support evolving reporting capabilities, and translate data into practical business insights.

Primary Responsibilities

   Support the People Analytics team across both data and research workstreams, including exploratory analysis, employee listening initiatives, survey projects, workforce research, reporting, dashboard support and stakeholder-ready insights.
   Contribute to team capability building by documenting best practices, creating knowledge resources, sharing lessons learned, and maintaining awareness of emerging People Analytics methods, tools, and technologies.
   Conduct or support job analysis activities, including gathering and organizing job-related information to support assessment, classification, selection, development, and workforce planning initiatives.
   Translate data and research findings into clear summaries, presentations, reports, and briefing materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
   Partner with People Analytics leaders, researchers, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requests, clarify requirements, and deliver accurate, timely insights.
   Maintain, validate, and document reports, dashboards, data workflows, and reporting processes using approved HR data sources and business intelligence tools while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
   Document high-frequency reporting workflows, data retrieval steps, report logic, dashboard assumptions, definitions, data sources, and repeatable processes.
   Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications

   Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and three or more years of related experience, or equivalent education and related experience.
   Experience assisting with surveys, assessments, interview guides, job analysis, employee listening, organizational research, or workforce studies.
   Exposure to data retrieval, data transformation, or light coding using tools or languages such as SQL, R, Databricks, or similar technologies.
   Experience documenting report logic, dashboard assumptions, workflow steps, metadata, data definitions, business rules, or process flows.
   Strong curiosity and learning agility, with a demonstrated ability to build capability in new systems, tools, and methods.
   High attention to detail, especially in data validation, documentation, report review, survey outputs, and stakeholder deliverables.
   Ability to conduct descriptive analysis, identify trends, summarize findings, and support practical recommendations.
   Working knowledge of applied statistical and analytical methods used in workforce research and people analytics.
   Foundational knowledge of research methods, survey methods, workforce analytics, organizational research, or applied social science methods.
   Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
   Ability to manage multiple requests, follow through on deliverables, and work effectively with cross-functional partners.
   Strong customer service, problem solving, analytical thinking, relationship building, and presentation skills.
   Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
