As a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health statuses and specific needs.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and requirements.
• Provide individual therapy to adult clients using evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies tailored to their situations.
• Engage in teletherapy, delivering virtual therapy sessions that are effective and accessible for your clients.
• Offer crisis intervention services as necessary, responding promptly and effectively to clients in distress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain current on best practices and evolving industry standards.

Our client population includes a diverse array of individuals struggling with various mental health challenges. As a therapist at Carewell Psychological Clinic, you will work with adult clients addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. You will have the autonomy to determine the therapeutic methods you wish to utilize, ensuring that your approach resonates with both your clinical style and the needs of your clients.

• A valid and current license in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities to handle a full caseload efficiently.

While all qualified professionals are encouraged to apply, we particularly value those with experience in telehealth settings or with specific therapeutic modalities that may benefit our client population, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices.
