HealthLink Therapeutic Intervention Therapy is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This role is fully remote, allowing for flexible scheduling that can accommodate evening and weekend hours to better serve our clients. As a counselor in our telehealth setting, you will work independently while maintaining consistent communication with other professionals in our interdisciplinary team. We equip our therapists with state-of-the-art telehealth technology to ensure that they can deliver high-quality therapy sessions from the comfort of their chosen workspace.

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings that evaluate clients' histories with substance abuse, mental health conditions, and specific treatment needs, leading to informed therapeutic decisions.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that intricately address not only the addiction issues but also any co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, which may include physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
• Provide comprehensive education and resources for clients' families to foster involvement in the recovery process, ensuring they understand the complexities of addiction and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in line with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that treatment documentation is both precise and up to date.

The primary focus of this role is to support clients grappling with substance abuse issues and related mental health challenges. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each at different stages of their recovery journey, providing them with the tools and support needed to foster personal growth and long-term sobriety.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and accompanying mental health disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to intentionally create a trusting rapport with clients and motivate them towards their personal recovery goals.
• Outstanding communication abilities to effectively collaborate with the broader treatment team.

• Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology is preferred for deeper insight and expertise.
• Experience in addiction counseling and specific training focused on substance abuse treatment methodologies is highly desirable.
• A background working in telehealth environments can be an asset, especially with familiarity in the use of virtual therapy platforms.
