Healing Mind and Soul Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Memphis, Tennessee. This full-time role focuses on delivering telehealth services, specifically targeting children with developmental disabilities and their families. • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth, focusing on enhancing mental wellness.
• Implement therapeutic techniques such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training, specifically designed to reduce high-risk behaviors including self-injury and physical aggression.
• Guide families in developing effective decision-making skills to better manage in-home behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate proactively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to align treatment plans and connect families with various support services.
• Provide thorough documentation of patient progress through intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within established timelines.
• Participate actively in monthly team meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on your clinical observations.

This role is particularly focused on supporting children aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental disabilities or intellectual challenges. Our therapeutic programs are designed to address the specific needs of these young clients and their families, encouraging overall mental wellness and resilience within the household. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in facilitating positive outcomes for clients who require specialized support.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is required to practice in this role.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM) as well as some weekend flexibility.
• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle are necessary for local outreach purposes.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required.

• Experience working with children who have intellectual or developmental disabilities is a major plus.
• Background in positive behavior support strategies will be advantageous.
• Prior work experience in providing therapy to diverse populations will enhance your application.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred, to cater to our diverse clientele.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees will receive a robust benefits package that includes:
