Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $92,300.00 - $153,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description

*This position is remote/work from home. You need to reside within the Eastern, Central or Mountain Time zones AND be able to work Eastern Standard hours. If within 25 miles of any of the office locations listed, the role will be hybrid.

The Manager, Digital Marketing / Communications develops and evolves the website, SEO, and web-performance strategy for a subset of the company's brands and products. This role owns the day-to-day strategy and optimization of the assigned web properties-from configuration and content management through conversion rate optimization-and establishes the scalable frameworks, standards, and search-visibility approaches that keep those experiences performing against business objectives.

Operating as an individual contributor and subject matter expert, this role partners closely with Product Marketing, brand and product marketers, agencies, and boundary partners to align web efforts with the broader marketing program. The ideal candidate pairs deep technical fluency in web and search with an analytical mindset, translating performance data into well-reasoned recommendations and influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.

What You'll Do

Website Strategy & Management

  • Develops and evolves the strategy for a subset of the company's websites, overseeing configuration, content editing, copy and image proofing, and graphics creation.
  • Manages execution of website page optimization in partnership with agencies and brand/product marketers, from design through publication.
  • Optimize landing pages and web experiences to improve conversion, applying user-experience and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
  • Establishes scalable page-performance standards covering load time, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Conducts regular content audits, identifying outdated pages for refresh or removal to maintain quality and relevance.

SEO & Search Visibility (AEO)

  • Develops and evolves SEO and search-visibility strategies across the assigned web properties, aligning content with target keywords and search intent.
  • Conducts technical SEO audits addressing site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, and structured data.
  • Establishes front- and back-end strategies to enable AI overviews and answer-engine optimization (AEO) visibility.
  • Develops an SEO content calendar aligned with keyword research and seasonal trends.
  • Formulates and drives a link-building approach that builds domain authority through partnerships, PR, and content.

Web Performance & Analytics

  • Tracks and analyzes web performance metrics including traffic, bounce rate, time on site, conversion rate, and page load speed.
  • Monitors SEO performance across organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, and backlink profile.
  • Establishes performance dashboards that enable in-flight optimization of web experiences.
  • Synthesizes web and search insights into strategic recommendations backed by data and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develops attribution reporting showing how web and organic search contribute to pipeline and conversion.

Testing, Optimization & Collaboration

  • Develops a testing roadmap prioritizing high-impact elements such as page layouts, CTAs, and landing-page variants.
  • Establishes test design standards including hypothesis formation, control/variant definition, success metrics, and sample-size requirements.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on website and search capabilities, advising cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Works closely with Product Marketing, brand/product marketers, and boundary partners to align web efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Establishes quality-assurance checklists and version-control practices covering rendering, links, tracking, and compliance.

Who You Are

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and communications across multiple brands or solutions within a large, matrixed enterprise organization.
  • Proven track record managing website and SEO programs across multiple sites or platforms.
  • Deep expertise in website management, SEO/SEM, and conversion rate optimization, including technical SEO (site speed, crawlability, structured data).
  • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress/WPVIP) and front-end web fundamentals (HTML, CSS); familiarity with light back-end concepts.
  • Proficiency with web and SEO analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Hotjar, Clarity, and SEMrush, and with building dashboards and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of project management tooling (e.g., Monday.com) and expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with emerging search trends, including AI overviews and answer-engine optimization (AEO).
  • Experience with experimentation and personalization platforms (Optimizely or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integrations (Salesforce, Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, SFMC).
  • Analytical Thinking (Skilled): interprets web and search data to formulate well-reasoned, data-driven recommendations.
