Job description

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $75.00 - $78.50 per hour Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and contribute to large-scale dispatchable projects such as combustion turbines.
  • Provide electrical expertise, focusing on evaluating project drawings and handling RFIs across multiple projects.
  • Support project activities related to large projects near Mead, CO.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • 3+ years specifically in the dispatchable generation project space (construction or engineering design)
  • Willing to travel to the site as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited school or strong/commensurate experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical skills to resolve questions, troubleshoot design conflicts, etc.
  • Knowledge of/Familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract
  • Experience working with utilities or design firms on dispatchable technologies, especially large-frame combustion turbines
