Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a strong background in retail and restaurant construction to oversee projects from conception through completion. This position will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, quality, and overall project delivery.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong problem-solver with 10+ years of construction Project Management experience, capable of managing multiple projects and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Location: Remote - Las Vegas, NV area preferred
Alternative Location: Southern California
Travel: Southern California, Arizona, Texas, and other project locations as required
Experience: 10+ years
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $140,000-$170,000 annually
Additional Compensation: Annual vehicle allowance + Per Diem while traveling

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception through completion.

  • Establish and manage project schedules, budgets, costs, and quality targets.

  • Interview, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and trade partners.

  • Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders.

  • Develop project schedules and monitor schedule performance and deliverables.

  • Manage submittals, RFIs, project documentation, procurement, and project delivery.

  • Generate profit projections, estimate project costs, and monitor financial performance.

  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variances.

  • Conduct project site visits and monitor construction progress and quality.

  • Establish communication schedules and provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders.

  • Manage client relationships and ensure a high-quality client experience.

  • Supervise compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project standards.

  • Identify, analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks.

  • Resolve conflicts and project issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.

  • Review completed work with the project team to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.

  • Work closely with the Director of Construction and client experience team throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction Project Management experience.

  • Strong experience specifically in retail and restaurant construction.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience managing construction projects from conception through completion.

  • Strong knowledge of subcontractor negotiations and subcontract agreements.

  • Experience with schedule and schedule management, submittals, procurement, budgets, and project delivery.

  • Strong client management and communication skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, regulations, standards, and construction practices.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong conflict and crisis management abilities.

  • Ability to see the "big picture" while managing project details.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Procore experience preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as project needs dictate.

Working Conditions
  • Remote position with regular project site visits.

  • Projects will primarily be located in the Las Vegas area, with assignments in Southern California, Arizona, Texas, and other markets as needed.
