A leading construction and engineering organization is seeking a Microsoft AI Engineer to help expand and scale enterprise AI capabilities across critical business functions. This role will focus on designing, deploying, and optimizing AI-powered workflows within the Microsoft ecosystem, enabling business teams to automate processes, improve productivity, and unlock new efficiencies across the enterprise.

The organization is actively shifting its AI strategy from evaluating large-scale software platforms to building practical, high-impact AI solutions internally. This engineer will play a key role in developing agent-based workflows, proof-of-concepts, and automation solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and drive measurable business outcomes. Initial initiatives will support HR automation efforts, with future projects extending into procurement, finance, and other business functions.

Project Overview

This team is leading an enterprise-wide AI transformation initiative focused on accelerating automation and empowering business users through secure, governed AI solutions. The group has already developed innovative internal platforms that dramatically reduce deployment timelines and support a growing portfolio of business applications. The next phase is focused on AI-first solutions, proof-of-concepts, and intelligent workflows that showcase the art of the possible and create scalable automation opportunities across the organization.

As a Microsoft AI Engineer, you'll work alongside architects, developers, UX professionals, and business leaders to build AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and agentic workflow technologies.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Developing AI-powered workflow automation solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Building and deploying agentic workflows that connect with enterprise business systems.
  • Designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications to improve knowledge access and decision support.
  • Creating proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value and accelerate AI adoption across departments.
  • Supporting enterprise automation initiatives for HR, procurement, finance, and other corporate functions.
  • Ensuring AI solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with governance and responsible AI practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing solutions in Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio).
