Overview

Together, We Enhance Innovation and Growth

i2G specializes in advanced physical electronic security and life safety solutions. I2G has proven experience in surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems, biometrics, fence sensors, radars, ground sensors, anti-drone technologies, and more. We excel in design, project management, commissioning, and enterprise technology integrations.

i2G’s mission is to provide the products and services that meet our customers’ needs to give them a vital advantage in today’s market, helping to protect what matters most.

We are seeking an experienced Remote Security Project Manager to take full ownership and remote leadership of low-voltage security integration projects for a dedicated national account. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams—including internal installation technicians, integration engineers, and specialized subcontractors—delivering Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), CCTV, intercoms, and integrated property technology systems.

As the project champion, you will drive project governance, financial health, and operational excellence across the entire project lifecycle. You will serve as the primary strategic and operational liaison between internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations) and external stakeholders (National Clients, General Contractors, and associated trades) to ensure scopes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Own the planning, execution, and closeout of concurrent electronic security installations, driving accountability across all milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key national account stakeholders and General Contractors, leading regular status reviews, technical discussions, and executive progress reporting.
  • Resource & Subcontractor Oversight: Direct, evaluate, and hold accountable field installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractor partners to ensure safety, technical compliance, and adherence to i2G standards.
  • Financial & Scope Governance: Manage project budgets, monitor labor and material expenditures, control billing milestones, and actively protect project profit margins through proactive change order and risk management.
  • Technical Quality & Compliance: Interpret and validate complex architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages; oversee accurate as-built/red-line documentation and technical programming workflows.
  • Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify project bottlenecks, manage Requests for Information (RFIs), resolve site conflicts quickly, and implement contingency plans to eliminate schedule slippage.
  • Pre-Sales & Estimating Support: Partner with Sales and System Engineering to review scopes of work (SOWs), evaluate technical feasibility, and assist in proposal development as needed.
  • Field Verification & Site Audits: Travel to client sites to lead project kick-offs, conduct comprehensive quality assurance audits, and execute formal commissioning and closeout.
  • Other duties as required and assigned for business need.

Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of progressive project management experience within the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration industry.
  • Demonstrated background managing access control systems (ACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection (IDS), intercoms, and broader property technology infrastructure.
  • Proven track record managing project financials, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, SimPRO) and enterprise office suites.
  • Strong blueprint literacy with the ability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural drawings.
  • High degree of communication acumen, with experience managing client expectations at both the site and corporate levels.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background screenings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (50%–75%) to support project milestones, quality inspections, and handoffs.
